At Pathways to Services Development, we believe that true reentry success begins with strong community collaboration. As we continue building our foundation, we recognize the critical role of Alameda County Probation in supporting individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community. That’s why we are actively reaching out to key leaders and decision-makers to explore strategic partnerships that will enhance reentry services and provide peer-driven, trauma-informed support.
Our approach is shaped by lived experience and community-driven solutions. Our Founder and CEO, James Gonzales, is a former AB 109 client, Tri-City FUBU alumni, and former Community Advisory Board (CAB) member. His journey through reentry and transformation fuels Pathways' mission to close service gaps and empower individuals with the tools they need for lasting success.
Why This Collaboration Matters
By working alongside Alameda County Probation, we aim to:✅ Provide structured reentry housing & peer mentorship programs tailored for AB 109 clients.✅ Integrate lived experience professionals into reentry services for deeper engagement and real-world guidance.✅ Align with Alameda County’s goals to reduce recidivism and create sustainable pathways to independence.
The Power of Peer Support
Pathways is built on the idea that those who have walked the journey are best equipped to guide others. That’s why we are working with Ed Wright, the former CEO of Tri-City FUBU, and other reentry experts to develop programs that empower individuals, not just to survive but to thrive beyond reentry.
Looking Ahead
We are seeking strong partnerships with Alameda County leaders, probation officers, and reentry service providers. If you are part of this mission or know someone who can contribute, let’s connect and build a system that truly works for our community.
