Rethinking the Homelessness Conversation

Yes — homelessness is a crisis that demands urgent attention.
But don’t you think that when we only focus on ending homelessness as a housing issue, we risk losing sight of the truth?
🏠 Housing is essential — it’s the foundation.
But healing is transformational — it’s the structure that stands on it.
If we forget the trauma, the wounds, and the stories behind every person’s journey, we build systems that give people shelter but not restoration.
We don’t just need to fight homelessness.
We need to fight the root — the pain, the isolation, the broken identity — and create spaces of faith, connection, and healing where people can become whole again.
Because transformation doesn’t come from services alone.
It comes from truth, trust, and love.
